Like a Virgin
Virgin Active and Laughology share so many values, we could have been siblings in a former life. We are both fun, vibrant, welcoming, innovative, youthful and led by famous beard-wearers (although our leader choses to wax hers).
The synergy was in evidence when a beardless Stephanie Davies worked with the gym and fitness club business this month to explore the concept of happy clubs in more detail, and to investigate how Virgin Active can embed happiness in its culture, both scientifically and structurally.
Stephanie, who like Richard Branson is described as a ‘thought leader’ and has a mug with this written on it, delivered a half-day session on embedding happiness structure to GMs and leadership team members at the organisation’s member service managers conference.
