Laughology’s Kerry Leigh takes her solo stand-up show on the road
Kerry Leigh solo show ‘Catching Rainbows’ is an uplifting hour of original (and often physical) stand up, threaded with colourful tales of delving into the single lesbian scene in her forties; epic parenting fails; becoming a ‘ninja in time management’; and finally getting around to putting her mental health at the top of her to-do list.
The show debuted in the UK in July 2018 at L Fest UK where it received a standing ovation and has since been shortlisted for three of their awards. A self-confessed lover of rainbows and ‘child trapped in a woman’s body’, Kerry’s energy helps her keep spinning plates as a parent; stand-up comedian and one half of double act ‘Toots and Leigh’ by night; and Laughology facilitator by day.
She shares her hour-long solo show in: Brighton Sat 17th November at The Marlborough Pub & Theatre 8pm, Mon 19th November at The Waterside in Sale, Manchester 8pm and heads to Perth Australia for their ‘World Fringe’ Festival in February 2019.
