Laughology at the VMAs
The VMA Group is a leading global recruitment specialist for corporate and marketing communications which works with some of the biggest companies on the planet. Laughology was invited to present at one of VMA’s popular breakfast meetings.
The roundtable, informal session was attended by several of VMA’s clients including BP, O2 and Rentokil. Guests came together to network and discuss new developments within the internal comms industry.
Stephanie Davies delivered a dynamic session on the importance of happiness as an engagement tool and also looked at the role happiness and humour can play in organisational strategy.
She led a discussion on changing communication styles within business. It was interesting to note the consensus that informality and humour play an increased role in how businesses communicate internally. Guests agreed that younger employees now expect a more informal rapport with their colleagues and leaders.
