Communication and teambuilding at Manor Drive Medical Centre

Manor Drive Medical Centre had a break from the ordinary when our Victoria visited for some teambuilding training in January. Reception staff, GPs, nurses and other colleagues enjoyed an early evening session of laughter, silliness and pizza to escape the sub-zero temperatures outside.

For one hour, these healthcare heroes from Manor Drive got to unwind, connect and build a more cohesive team, as well as look at how to improve team performance.

One of the highlights of the training was a series of engaging and interactive exercises to challenge the doctors in their ability to listen, communicate, and understand each other as a team, as well as remember that each of us can change and be different every day.

Everyone wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to focus on teamwork, step outside of their comfort zones and work together in a different setting, and spirits were certainly lifted at the close of the session.
