Schools, happiness and laughter - using FLIP-it Thinking

What’s better than a Laughology headteachers’ conference?  A Laughology live headteachers’ conference, where people can get real Curly Wurlys and laughter can be heard echoing around the room.

Laughology live is well and truly back, and teachers and headteachers around the UK are making the most of it.  Stephanie Davies, Laughology’s head of Happiness, delivered two headteacher conferences in the northwest in March, supporting Wirral headteachers and Salford headteachers with laughter and leadership workshops and keynotes.

Over the last two years schools have stepped up and headteachers have led their teams through one of the most difficult periods in history. Now headteachers have the challenge of building their school teams back up, supporting mental health and wellbeing with children, teachers and parents. No easy task and that’s just part of it.

With the additional challenge set by the government to ‘catch-up’, heads need all the tools they can get to keep carrying on… and take their teams with them. The keynote and workshop covered FLIP-it Thinking as a tool for solution-focused thinking and ways to bring laughter into learning and teaching.

If you’d like to book Stephanie or one of the team for your INSET day or headteacher conference,  please get in touch by emailing doug@laughology.co.uk
