Nat West adopts Laughology’s five themes of happiness
We took our expertise to Birmingham earlier in January where we helped Nat West Bank with strategies for its regional managers in the Midlands and the North.
We delivered a session at the Bank’s regional team conference and addressed issues around the key themes of motivation and engagement. The region is performing well and wanted to look at ways to further engage the teams within it. The region is spread over a wide geographic area and regional managers lead teams in branches that can be disparate. It is not always practical for them to see their colleagues and so they required some creative solutions for engagement and motivation.
Using our Happiness Matrix, we took delegates through the five themes of happiness and showed them how the themes can be developed in organisations to drive engagement. Our session focused particularly on personal development, as teams and individuals who develop and achieve goals are more motivated, even when working at a distance from each other.
The measures and tools outlined in our session have now being implemented by the region and are being used as part of its overall team engagement strategy.
