Presenting online is a steep learning curve. If it’s not weird enough seeing your own face staring back at you, tech glitches can be the stuff of nightmares and when people turn their cameras off, how do you know if they’re even there? Maybe they’re off somewhere else with a cup of tea, a custard cream and a Netflix marathon?

On the plus side, however, there’s no commute, you can keep your slippers on and you’re never too far from the loo. But even home comforts can impact on how you ‘turn up’. So how can you be your best, authentic self and keep it real online?

At Laughology, we’ve been on our own learning curve too and we’d love to share that journey with you. We’ve learned to focus on making the best of what we’ve got and have continued to engage with our audiences brilliantly - whether that’s running an online meeting with a small group, facilitating a virtual workshop or presenting to a larger audience.

In our ‘Warts ‘n’ All’ online workshop with Kerry Leigh, you can:

  • Discover the simple ingredients for using humour appropriately in storytelling, keeping your audience engaged and entertained throughout
  • Learn how to come across as your authentic self and build rapport quickly, creating important connections with your virtual participants
  • Take away creative ways to bring materials to life virtually, keeping everyone motivated
  • Understand the neuroscience of emotional connection and how to create it online, ensuring you consider how you want your audience to feel
  • Learn how to choose your mindset and override any inner doubts, giving you a much-needed confidence boost
