Is Stopsley Community Primary School, the happiest in the UK?

According to Fionna Byre, Deputy Headteacher, it is, and that's why she has nominated them for the Happiest School in the National Happiness Awards 2108.

In support of her nomination, Fiona said:

'I took Steph's Laughology principles from working with her previously and brought them here when I started here as Deputy Headteacher.

'We have weaved them through all we do - staff training, implementing wellbeing policies, creating two mental health first aiders and some systems for the whole school in line with this.

'We recently won a Gold award for Healthy Schools (only 2nd school in Luton) and have been asked to be Community Champions. Our ethos and values were noticed in our recent successful OFSTED inspection! The staff here really are something special - and the children and families are wonderful to work with. It is a true community school, and I am very proud to be here'.
