Popular education courses for resilient schoolchildren

St Matthews happy school treeAs part of their Laughology Happy Centred School programme, St Matthews Primary School in Luton, have built their very own happy school tree.

Stephanie and Dave Keeling were in demand in the nation’s classrooms in April during a series of enlightening school sessions. It is always a busy time of year for Laughology in primary schools and our brilliant workshops are designed to help children cope with the stresses of learning by delivering tangible cognitive tools to help them feel relaxed and calm.

In Tolworth Junior School Stephanie delivered some mindfulness sessions for the children and gave them useful anchoring and breathing techniques to help them stay calm and in control when they felt anxious or nervous. Meanwhile Dave delivered a session on growth mind-set. This encouraged children to think differently and positively about their abilities and helped them realise that they are capable anything if they put their minds to it.

We also delivered two sessions at our pioneering Happy-centred School, St Matthews Primary School in Luton. The children loved our ever-popular Being Brave and Great workshop in which they discovered why bravery is important and how it helps you achieve anything. Dave delivered another of our popular school sessions, The Amazing Brain, which gave children memory techniques and tips on how to use their brains in a better way.

Dave was also in Ellingham Primary School in Chessington delivering a session on FLIP For Kids during which the youngsters learnt all about resilient thinking and being in control
