Checkatrade team development
Bringing new teams together can be challenging at the best of times. Throw in social distancing and home working, and team-building becomes even more difficult. Not for Checkatrade, however.
Their consumer team has been expanding, with new members joining, even in lockdown, and we designed a virtual Laughology team-building course to help them. We hosted webinars spread over three separate sessions and covered subjects including communication, getting to know your team, improvisation for building trust and psychological safety.
Prior to the sessions, the Checkatrade team took part in DISC profiling. This gave everyone an understanding of the personalities in their team. Stephanie Davies created activities based on the profiles to help team collaboration and build strengths.
Delegates explored topics through fun activities, such as writing love letters, group presentations and mock-selling techniques.
