Our FLIP-IT Thinking webinar can help!

FLIP-IT is a way of thinking and acting in the moment that helps build resilience and supports solutions. FLIP stands for Focus, Language, Imagination and Pattern-Breaking, and is a technique that can be used to see the world differently.

Instead of negativity and frustration, you can learn to say to others, “How can we FLIP this?”

But what exactly is FLIP-IT? we hear you cry. Well let’s break it down a bit more, shall we?

Focus – Understanding how we process thoughts, the power of neurotransmitters to boost our mood and how humour can interrupt our negative thought patterns, enabling us to make better choices so we feel more in control of our lives.

Language – Exploring unhelpful thinking, or as we call it here at Laughology, ‘wonky thoughts’, and how using the power of words can adjust our thinking to a more positive state, and move us to action.

Imagination – Discovering how using magic questions can help shift our perceived view of the world and change the way we think and feel.

Pattern Breaking – Understanding how to create more positive patterns and new habits of behaviour and thinking, to build resilience.

In this 75-minute, interactive session you will learn how to:

  • Use FLIP it thinking as a toolkit to help you feel in control and to respond positively to difficult situations.
  • Support children and colleagues using FLIP-IT, so that they can benefit from this technique and interrupt their own negative thought patterns.
  • Develop ways to build resilience in yourself and others, so you’re ready to positively tackle challenges that come your way.
  • Use humour and laughter as a technique, so you become more solution- focused.

As well as our rather fabulous, info-packed webinar, you’ll also receive these additional resources:

  • FLIP it Thinking cheat sheet to help you continue using this model on a daily basis.
  • Activity sheets for positive thinking, to put the method into practice.
  • Activity sheets for adults and children to help them feel in control using laughter and humour.

The Session will be led by two of our finest facilitators - Dave Keeling, Lead Happiness Consultant, and Stephanie Davies, CEO Laughology and Head of Happiness.

So if you’re ready to say goodbye to negativity and hello to a more positive, resilient way of thinking, come and join us - it’ll be FLIPping brilliant!
