Laughology was commissioned to run training sessions in two major O2 call centres in the north west of England to promote team-building, communication and improve staff morale.

Telefónica O2 UK has been named one of the top employers in the UK, ranked 6th in The Sunday Times Best Big Companies To Work For List.

With its roots in employee engagement, the O2 staff strategy, the People Promise, is founded on the principle that O2 employees are key to the overall success of the business. Recognising the importance of feeling connected, it enables all employees to play a part in making O2 an even better place to work.

The successes of these sessions lead to training with managers from six different sites in the UK.  02 recognise the importance of giving managers effective skills.  This training also ensured that sustainable techniques were learnt so that managers could offer more effective techniques and approaches to staff training.

The training was delivered on-site at the centres and focused on introducing the Laughology models for positive communication, creative problem solving and emotional intelligence. The sessions were interactive and fun with the focus firmly on participants feeling comfortable.  

The sessions were evaluated and seen as huge successes which lead to further training with managers from 02 centres around the north of England.
