Cardiovascular Rehabilitation

Laughology has recently been invited to become involved in Chester University’s Cardiovascular Rehabilitation programme. We are developing and delivering a unique module in relation to how Laughology can be used as a positive intervention with patients who have cardiovascular problems for enhancing emotional intelligence and improving genral health and well being.

Chester University’s post grad programme: Cardiac Rehabilitation - is known for its multidisciplinary approach and focus upon evidence-based practice. This postgraduate programme helps hospitals and primary care trusts to fulfil their NSF targets and aims.

Professor Kevin Sykes http://www.chester.ac.uk/cens/sykes.html who works internationally with surgeons, physicians and other health professionals researching the effects of physical activity and healthy nutrition on prevention and rehabilitation from chronic diseases invited Laughology to get involved following a presentation given by Stephanie Davies, Director, Laughology at the Annual, British Cardiovascular Society conference.
