Park Community Academy nomination for Happiest School Employee 2017 award.

Donna Irving, a Teacher at Park Community Academy, has nominated her colleague, Amy Healey, for the Happiest School Employee 2017 award.

In her nomination, Donna says:

'Amy is a ray of sunshine. You would never know if Amy had any personal issues because as soon as she sees you then she is beaming happily!

'She always initiates conversations with others and is genuinely interested in how others are doing. She extends this courtesy to all adults and pupils in the school.

'Amy makes others feel happy because it is impossible not to feel lifted when she is around. I have never seen Amy sad or unhappy or less than joyful! I know if I see Amy then I will end up smiling. She makes time for us all!

'She organises staff games and staff social events to keep up morale and adults find themselves going along with her and end up enjoying themselves.

'Amy plays games in the playground with pupils when other adults may just stand and watch - she is never too tired!

'You could interview staff and pupils, and they would all say 'she makes me happy because her happiness is infectious!'
