Beech Hill Primary School - nomination for Happiest School Employee 2017 award

Jenny Mantle, Teacher and Wellbeing Officer at Beech Hill Primary School, has nominated her colleague, Julie Patterson, for a Happiest School Employee 2017 award.

In support of her nomination, Jenny says:

'Julie is just a ray of sunshine wherever she goes. She cares about everyone - colleagues, pupils, and their families. She always has energy and a cheerful smile or word to share with everyone.

'Despite having had some ill-health herself nothing keeps her down, and she is always concerned about others. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she knows how to make our pupils feel special and cared for.

'Everyone should have a Julie in their school as she is simply amazing. This award would allow Julie to realise just how much we value her and you can be sure she would enjoy the celebrations!

'Julie works as a member of our support staff and works with children that may be experiencing some barriers to their learning. Her innovative ideas and endless patience mean that pupils gain confidence and go from strength to strength.

'Julie also has an amazing sense of humour, and her laughter can be heard ringing out across the school.'
