Melanie Eastwood of The Development Manager in Worcester, nominated in the National Happiness Awards 19

happiest employee category national happiness awards
The Happiest Employee category recognises and pays tribute to people who support and encourage their colleagues, while contributing to overall happiness in their organisations. And according to Genevieve Dicks and Brett Hopcutt of The Development Manager in Worcester, their co-worker Melanie Eastwood is the perfect candidate.

"Mel is always smiling and is genuinely happy to support, help and guide anyone, anywhere and any time. Nothing is too much for her. She encourages smiles, happiness and engagement from all of her work colleagues and apprentices," writes Genevieve. "She is a ray of sunshine and inspires happiness in those around her. She goes out of her way to include every team member and makes it her job to ensure that everyone feels supported and happy. She is a treasure, and we are all lucky to know and work with her."
Brett agrees that Professional Development Coach Mel is worthy of a National Happiness Award and says that she embodies the company ethos of 'doing well by doing good'.
"Mel is the most passionate person I have had the pleasure of working with and is always smiling. She turns a dull Monday meeting into an enjoyable experience with her enthusiastic, radiant aura. Her enthusiasm for work makes you look forward to the week and encourages others to work to her high standards and strive for enjoyment in everything they do," he states in his nomination.

Who is your Melanie Eastwood?  If you have someone in your workplace who contributes to the overall happiness in your organisation, make sure you nominate them in this year's National Happiness Awards.
