Proud to sponsor Women in Police Awards

Laughology has recently been involved in a pioneering project run by West Midlands Association for Women in Policing (WMAWP) which aims to empower male and female officers to feel comfortable talking about the menopause.

Kerry Leigh has been delivering menopause awareness sessions across West midlands police teams, fire service and other emergency services, who have come together to learn about the challenges of menopause and how to support women and workforces to create positive practices.  

Thanks to our links with this forward-thinking organisation, we were asked to sponsor of the Women in Policing Awards, held in Wolverhampton in February. We jumped at the chance and enjoyed an evening of fun and heroics, honouring some of the best cops in the UK.

The ceremony was held to recognise the best and brightest women in the law enforcement and there were awards for a range of criteria including bravery and community work. It was a great evening and we were honoured to be involved. We hope to carry on our links with the organisation and extend the important menopause awareness work to other forces in the UK.
