Making an impact at the VMA Group


In any business focussed on human relationships, making an impression is important. And no one in the learning and development sector knows how to make an impression on people like Laughology. Which is why comms recruitment specialists VMA Group invited us over to deliver a taster session.

The VMA Group is a leading international global resourcing and career partner for corporate comms, marketing, internal and external communications, PR and investor relations.

Earlier in the month, we delivered a workshop for staff at its London office focussed on how to make an impact. We taught guests the secrets that stand-up comedians and other performers use to give themselves presence on stage, a transferable skill that business professionals can use to help them in meetings, interviews and when delivering pitches and presentations.

With our unique background in stand-up comedy, we are experts in the art of making a positive impact and understand how to negotiate the fine line between arrogance and confidence and humility and shyness. At the VMA Group, we delivered a fun, practical session which gave delegates a fascinating insight and take-away skills.
