Happy school’s webinar with Collaboroo

Stephanie Davies was all over the internet earlier in June when she presented the first of two webinars in partnership with Collaboroo, the online community of teaching professionals.

The subject was creating a happy school and Stephanie spoke about why happiness helps schools. She discussed the neuroscience behind happiness and why it helps learning. She also discussed the Laughology happiness matrix and the five drivers of happiness. The second session on July 4 looked at practical measures. During the session, a live poll was conducted and viewers were asked what the biggest blockers were to happiness in their workplace. The main problems were workload and time management so we are now working on some Top Tips to help, which we promise to publish in due course.  You can listen again to the webinars for free.
