Happy-centred schools programme update

For happiness to be sustainable, it needs to become part of an organisation’s culture. And for that to happen, organisations need to embed it and deliver it internally.

This is one of the principles of the happy-centred schools programme. It is designed to grow and become part of a school structure and ethos. Which is why we were proud to see Kaizen Primary School, one of our happy-centred schools in London, learn FLIP techniques themselves and deliver them to the children.

After spending a day with Juliette Yardley in a train-the-trainer session, staff were ready to design and deliver FLIP themselves. FLIP for kids helps young people solve problems and manage their emotions.

With their new-found skills, Kaizen staff have already seen benefits, such as children taking time out and choosing the right behaviour and language.
