Even communications organisations need some comms expertise sometimes, which is why mobile phone and internet provider EE called on Laughology to deliver a full-day session to their tech team looking at communications and influence.
During the session we investigated different thinking and communication styles within the organisation and addressed some of the key issues that arise when styles between teams and individuals differ. It was a fascinating day delivered by Stephanie Davies. Delegates gained valuable insights into how their styles of communication impacted on others.
The session helped leaders identify different ways to communicating messages within the company and looked at language and how it can be used to influence people. As the delegates were predominately concerned with communicating technical data in their day-to-day jobs, Stephanie encouraged them to think about ways to engage others with that data. They were given skills to allow them to get their messages across effectively and also to engage people in a fun way. The session also looked at transactional analysis and different styles of communication.
