Diversity and inclusion workshop at North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service
To help get perspective on diversity and inclusion, North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service asked Laughology to deliver a 90-minute session on unconscious bias. The session was intended to enlighten current staff about the unconscious biases we all have but rarely recognise. These can have an impact on the way individuals and organisation make decisions. The sessions tackle what can be a sensitive subject in a fun and non-judgemental way, thereby allowing open discussion and the exchange of ideas and thoughts. The session was a resounding success with feedback describing it as: ‘inspiring and thought-provoking’.
